i was at a beach in Laguna Beach, CA and i found these weird things in the sand. they looked like sand crabs but had antennae and they jumped! they looked so weird!!!!!!
Answers:Possibly sand fleas?
You could have seen Sand Hoppers and it's when they're disturbed they jump,but there are a type of crab in California that dig holes in the sand but instead of walking out.......they jump out.
I don't know the answer, but I think it is great that you asked this question. Most people ask serious life or political questions. You, ask a question about sand crabs. I know where your priorities are and I wish that mine were there more often.
