Bundle of wires that plugs into back of cd player?

i installed my cd player and the radios coming in as static, so i figured i have to fix the antenna little wire...

Generally, the antenna is a fat black cable. You might check with a stereo shop, the feedback could be electrical interference from the engine affecting the reception. They can show you how to cure it.
